Gynescope Specialist Hospital
Patient App Privacy Policy
Effective 30 August 2026; last updated 5 September 2026
About this policy
This policy explains how Gynescope Specialist Hospital handles information when a patient or an authorised staff member uses the Gynescope mobile application. The app supports care coordination and access to hospital services; it is not an emergency service and does not replace professional medical advice.
Information we handle
- Identity and contact details, including name, phone number, email and hospital number.
- Healthcare information, including appointments, laboratory results, prescriptions and symptom-check responses.
- Billing records, invoices, receipts and the billing arrangement shown to the patient.
- Account, device and security information needed for sign-in, session protection, reminders and audit logging.
- Private team-chat messages submitted by authorised staff members for care coordination and operational follow-up.
- Requests you submit concerning access to, correction of or deletion of your information.
How we use information
We use this information to provide and coordinate care, show authorised health and billing records, manage appointments, send requested care reminders, protect accounts, investigate service issues, meet regulatory obligations and respond to data-rights requests. We do not sell patient information or use it for third-party advertising.
Who may receive information
Access is limited to authorised Gynescope personnel and service providers that support the application, such as cloud hosting, database, email and push-notification providers. These providers process information on our behalf to operate the service. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect patients or others, or with the patient's valid instruction. Service providers must handle information only for the agreed service.
Retention and security
We retain information for the period needed for treatment, continuity of care, legal and regulatory duties, dispute resolution and legitimate hospital operations. Clinical records may need to be retained even after an account-deletion request. We apply access controls, encrypted transport, protected sessions and activity logging, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
The app's Profile screen lets patients request a copy of their information or request account deletion. Notification permission can be changed in the device settings. You may also contact us to ask about access, correction, restriction, objection or deletion, subject to applicable healthcare-record obligations.
Email gynescope001@gmail.com. Please do not send laboratory reports or other clinical attachments by ordinary email.
For technical app support, email appnovia.dev@gmail.com.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the application, our practices or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
